A few weeks ago, TVC Medical and UneInfirmiereChezVous introduced negative pressure wound treatment in the DR Congo. An additional step is now taken by providing such treatment at home by specialized nurses. As soon as the conditions are met, the patient is invited to join the family circle where he (she) is followed by nurses who are experienced in this type of intervention. The benefits are: - the patient rests in an environment that is familiar to him - a hospital bed is released for the benefit of other patients, thus reducing the corresponding cost in health care.
